• No
royalties: The Senior’s Choice is
very interested in the success of our members, but not
because we want a percentage like a franchise
would. Other than a fixed monthly membership
fee, there are no requirements for a percentage of
your revenues.
• Low-cost
liability insurance: Because of group
bargaining power, our members are able to buy
extensive coverage for a fraction of what it would
cost a non-member to buy coverage.
The
savings you will receive on insurance will easily pay
for the monthly membership dues.
• Scheduling
software: Our members receive the
industry-leading caregiver/client scheduling software.
It allows you to keep track of all caregivers and
clients, easily schedule your services, generate
automated invoices, simplify your payroll, and much
more. Again, the savings you will receive on the
scheduling software could easily pay for your
membership dues.
• Networking with
other Senior’s Choice business owners:
We provide numerous opportunities for you to
connect with a great group of fellow business
owners. This is perhaps the most important
benefit of membership, as you will grow your business
much more rapidly if you are networking with others
who are doing the same. Some of the ways you
will connect with other owners include:
- Monthly member conference calls.
- Member newsletters.
- Internet chat board
- Idea of the month contest.
- Annual convention.
• Updates on system
changes: As
the market, the society, and the laws change, we will
keep our system of operations up-to-date. Members have
access to our password-protected message boards and
on-line document support, which provide constant
updates on changes in the industry.
• Free access to all training events for
yourself and your staff:
As you hire people to help you run the
business, you can send them to our training events for
no extra charge. You may even choose to re-attend
training events yourself any time we offer
them.
• Unlimited telephone
coaching: Questions can be answered,
challenges can be overcome and focus can be enhanced
by simply calling our office and scheduling a
one-on-one telephone appointment with one of our
executives or with one of our successful
members.
• Ability to use our
nationally-branded and trademarked logo and name:
The Senior’s Choice name and logo can
be prominently displayed on all materials, even while
you build your own name and logo (just like Mary’s
Flower Shop may also be an FTD Florist or Jack’s Hotel
may also prominently display the AAA logo).
• A guarantee of
non-competition: We will not sell
our system to anyone in your area, or accept any other
members in your area.
• Business
leads: While it is impossible for
us to guarantee each member a certain number of
referrals to potential clients, our members routinely
receive referrals from our office, our website, our
industry partners, and each other.
• Free use of a
variety of public presentation formats and other
marketing programs: These include
exclusive programs complete with
professionally-produced video’s, presentation scripts,
and brochures on such topics as Fall Prevention, Elder
Abuse and other topics of interest to seniors, their
families, and/or healthcare audiences. These
tools enable you to gain access to potential clients
and you may use them as long as you are a member of
The Senior’s Choice.
•
Caregiver
continuing education and certification
program: You will set yourself
apart in the marketplace by offering a team of
caregivers who have received extra training and who
have been certified by The Senior’s Choice as a Certified
Companion Aide, CCA®.
Members of The Senior’s Choice have access to all of
this training.
• No
long-term contracts: Unlike a
franchise agreement, our members can “opt out” anytime
they like. We are bound by agreement to our
members, but they can leave us anytime they feel our
services have not more than exceeded the value of the
membership dues.
• Advertising
and PR resources: As a
member of The Senior’s Choice, you will benefit from
and have access to a variety of Advertising and PR,
including articles published about us around the
country, print, radio, TV and direct mail advertising
that you can duplicate in your area, agreements, from
which you can benefit, with national providers of
services, such as long-term care insurance, and even a
trade show booth you can use.
These are just a few of the benefits that
association with a nationwide network with vast
resources will provide for you. There is so much
we offer, for such a nominal investment, that it would
be foolish to not be a member!
